Q.  After I select my BMW, what steps do I take to lease or finance my BMW through BMW Financial Services?

A.  Once you select a vehicle you can apply for leasing or financing on-line or through a BMW retailer.  To apply on-line, visit www.bmwusa.com and select BMW Financial Services then the "Payment Estimator" option.  If you would prefer a one-on-one approach, visit your local BMW retailer.

Q.  What happens if my new BMW hasn't arrived yet when my current lease is ending?

A.  You may have the option of extending your lease for a month until your car arrives.  All you need to do is contact a Lease End representative to discuss your options. 

Q.  What happens if I terminate my lease early?

A.  Based on the terms of your lease agreement, you may have various options available to end the lease early.  To inquire about the options available to you, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-578-5000.  Please note you may have to pay a substantial charge to end the lease early.  

Q.  How do I go about purchasing my vehicle at the end of my lease?

A.  Your vehicle may be purchased at the end of your term by contacting a Lease End representative.  Once requested, we can generate a payoff quote and fax or mail it to you.  When BMW Financial Services receives a certified check for the payoff amount, we can release the title.

Q. I've heard that some financing contracts can't be paid off without a penalty. Is that true?

A. Not with BMW Financial Services financing. Our loans and retail installment contracts can be paid off at any time without penalty. You can also make additional payments during your loan or retail installment sales contract to reduce your interest charges and shorten the term.

Q. Can I lease or finance a Certified Pre-Owned BMW?

A. Yes. BMW Financial Services has both lease and finance programs for Certified Pre-Owned BMWs. You can lease for up to 48 months or finance for up to 60 months. Q. How many miles can I drive a leased car that I plan to return to BMW Financial Services?

A. BMW Financial Services has a plan to accommodate the amount you drive. The standard mileage allowance is 15,000 miles per year. But we also offer plans for more than 15,000 miles per year, for 12,000 miles per year and for 10,000 miles per year. The advantage of our ability to tailor a plan to your needs is savings. If you opt for a higher mileage allowance up front, it will be reflected in your monthly payment.
