Wear and Use Guidelines
These guidelines are designed to help you avoid any surprises then you turn in your vehicle at lease end. Together with the BMW Lease-End Inspection Form and the BMW Inspection Wheel, these guidelines will help you assess your vehicle`s condition prior to lease end. These guidelines form the criteria that will be used during your scheduled inspection, and the BMW Lease-End Inspection Form that will be used during the inspection is based on these guidlines.
Within guidelines
NOTE: Multiple burns, rips, water damage or stains that exceed guidelines void the BMW Lease-End Inspection Form and require an independent inspection company to evaluate your vehicle again.

Stains
Small stains in a few areas.
Stains*
Large stains that require the carpet, seat, etc., to be replaced.
 
 
Break, tears and burns*
Anything broken, torn or burned must be fixed or replaced.
Broken paint larger than two inches.
Aftermarket equipment
Any original BMW part or accessory added by a BMW Center after delivery or not included in the lease.
Any modifications that have been restored to original specifications.
Aftermarket equipment*
Non-BMW aftermarket items that have not been removed.
Any holes left from removal of items.
Any original BMW function that was disengaged and then not re-engaged.
